US-CP-SB-01
An undershirt constructed from linen with a crooked placket cutting across the face of the garment.
Hand soldered buttons fasten the placket closed.
The inspiration for this garment was a military DAK mesh undershirt that i have owned for a number of years, over that time it has torn and ripped, moulding to the shape of the body.
By taking the pattern from the garment in this state, we have preserved this metamorphosis into a permanent form.
The hems are finished with a cotton tape with a zig-zag stitch.
