30x30in
the outer shell of wings
hollow tummy
soil laced with romanticismĀ
to be birthed in the fur of venusĀ
in accordance to the calling of the soul house
inter-connected candles
sprouted in union
the tip of each flameĀ
yearning for an infinite fire
melting us to the core of our hearts
which we surrender
to become oneĀ
dancing amongst the flames of grass
full body scan meditation
the scanner of my mind envisioned a gorilla
preparing to fight for war
what am i fighting against?
grass pierced through my gut
and i blend into its flamesĀ
now i am calmĀ
and inevitably ready
for truth to speak for itself
dove with an inverted wing
made in lace
cut from the same cloth
as the flies below
reaching for their kindred spirits
tucked into the teeth of our soil
the flesh of deer
thriving in their afterlife
wounded by the lack of tenderness
to sensitivity
by the blind
of red & green
lace
grass
flesh
wax
composing a full body mirror
a full body scanĀ
but where are my wings?Ā
i am left with its hollowed shell
destined to cling
Ā
