pattern inspired by traditional polish shirt from 1930’s from Czaplaki (region: Podkarpacie).
shirt features asymmetric gussets; left one is cut out along with the sleeve panel. gathering is asymmetrically implemented in base of the collar and on the bottom of back panel. cord is hand-laced on wooden lucet, cuffs and collar insides are finished with cotton bias tape and outsides are left raw.
top edge of the collar is cut on selvedge and sleeve plackets made in-seam with small linen binding. shirt is also finished with remorse seams, so french seam, with chaotically placed “openings” giving more movement to the garment.
