Gloriosa (Flame Lily)

There are approximately 10 species distributed from tropical Africa to tropical Asia. It is a bulbous plant planted in spring.
The leaf tips have tendrils, which allow it to climb on surrounding objects and extend its vines outwards.
The bulb contains highly toxic components; ingestion can cause poisoning, so special caution is required.
