This work stems from my relationship with my brother, who holds a central place in my life. He is autistic, and through him I’ve learned to see the world differently — more slowly, more sincerely, closer to the essence of things.
In these images, I collect fragments of our everyday life: simple gestures, shared silences, gazes that speak louder than words. Each photograph is a piece of our silent dialogue — my gaze intertwining with his, trying to reveal the complexity and tenderness of our bond.
This work does not aim to explain or represent “autism,” but rather to convey my brother’s presence as a living part of my existence — of my way of being and seeing.
It is an intimate narrative, made of closeness and distance, of light and waiting.
Through these images, I try to understand and preserve what connects us — a shared space, fragile and essential.
