The performans began on March 17, when two lovers, bound in a long-distance relationship, were forced to part ways after spending a week together.
For one month, they stayed apart without seeing each other.
For the final seven days of this month, they committed completely cutting off contact and comminication despite being in the same city.
During this time of deprivation, they recorded audio letters without sharing them with eachother.
Today, these letters will be played in the space, allowing the lovers to hear them fort he first time publicly.
Here they are: waiting, sitting back-to-back, seeparated by a curtain that divides the space in two.
Naked and blindfolded, they will attempt to bridge the minimal distance left between them, searching for each other in the dark.
What happens when something you rely on disappears? How to face the longing for who’s no longer there? How to fill that sudden void?
