From February 18 (Tuesday) to March 2 (Sunday),
We will be holding an exhibition of Vickey’72 by Kazuya Nakajima at CASICA Gallery.
Kazuya Nakajima’s lights, which make the time spent in the room even more cherished,
will be featured in his first solo exhibition at CASICA.

Kazuya Nakajima from Vickey’72, who creates original lighting by combining antique parts and brass with wood,
will be showcasing his work.
The lamps, quietly and gently accompanying us, reflect fragments hidden within the long passage of time
with a fleeting yet beautiful presence.
This time, Nakajima has made lamps using parts of old blown glass, whose waviness is beautiful, and globe components, which CASICA encountered.
Please take this opportunity to enjoy Nakajima’s world.

アンティークや古道具のパーツと、
真鍮と木を組み合わせて
オリジナルの照明を製作されている
vickey’72の中嶋和也さん。
長い時間の流れの中に潜む
かけらを映し出すように
静かにそっと寄り添うランプたちは、
儚くも美しい佇まいです。
今回はCASICAが出会った
古い吹きガラスの揺らぎが美しいホヤや
地球儀のパーツも使って
ランプを制作してくださいました。
この機会にぜひ
中嶋さんの世界をお楽しみください。
