Tucked away on a side street in Barcelona’s El Born neighborhood, Evarist Bertran quietly crafts his shoes. The uppers are made from the highest quality vegetable-tanned leather from Spain and around the world, Goodyear-welded to a sturdy, thick buffalo leather sole. Evarist Bertran shoes age beautifully and are made to last a lifetime, it feature a delicate upturned toe cap that creates a beautiful three-dimensional folds throughout the leather, making the shoe more durable. Evarist Bertran’s pieces express a classic design that is both elegant and timeless.
Each pair of Evarist Bertran is individually cut and hand-sewn in the workshop in Andalusia. With the excellent vegetable-tanned leather to create the signature aged look, timeless classic silhouette and exquisite craftsmanship, it shapes the classic curled toe that impresses the craft fanatics, These efforts are only possible with handmade shoes that can be worn for a lifetime.
From the 13th to 19th of March, Evarist Bertran shoes will be presented in Shanghai to share the craftsmanship tempered by time at ATE SIMO Space. A variety of handmade shoes will be exhibited on site, open and accepting personal orders, this event is also open to buyers.
