We are pleased to host an exhibition of Aki Tamiya’s milk pans and soup bowls at Utsuwa Shoken.
Tamiya, a ceramic artist based in Shizuoka, is dedicated to the art of yakishime (high-fired, unglazed pottery), creating her works with a pure and sincere perspective.
Her pieces develop a beautiful luster and become more durable over time with repeated use, evolving in the hands of their owners.
This exhibition will feature bowls, pots, milk pans, and other vessels designed to bring warmth to the dining table.
Her pottery, rich with a primitive charm, offers a unique aesthetic that we invite you to experience.
On the first day, February 22 (Sat), we will be serving soup using Tamiya’s tableware.
Please note that this will be available only while supplies last.
