A metaphorical product of reflection on our meeting – a composition made of clothing items.
The shirt serves as the central metaphor. The egg, both an ideological and factual center of the composition, is surrounded by elements that symbolize the nest.
Shirt crafted without the use of synthetic or new materials. Completely made by hands, without the aid of a sewing machine.
The materials were found in an abandoned shed. Several blueworker jackets from the 1940s. Due to the passage of time, the fabric has lost its density and has aged, but it has gained a special softness of worn old fabric. All flaws and holes are securely fixed with tiny stitches.
The cut and structure are also aligned with the lines of the egg.
The seams are made with meticulous technique. The fabric is hand-stitched with fine stitches, and the reverse side of the seam is concealed. Over 500 cm of handwork.
The reverse side is finished with antique cotton velvet from the early 20th century.
The closure features 4 hooks, also handmade.
