These are my impressions of an old village in the northeast of germany. When you’re walking around it seems like the time has stopped. Old architecture, empty houses, everywhere you see the influence of nature. It’s true life, in the middle of wheat fields the village is housing around 100 people. The most beautiful place was an old lost farm, you could see a lot of animals there, that are taking back their habitat. What also amazed me was an artist that builds figures out of metal waste and places them in front of his house. At the small lake in the village there was a majestic swan gliding over the water. In general the birds where so freely living there. It seemed you could feel their joy, you could see them playing games in the air and all the time there was a sweet melody you heard.
It’s lovely how a place like this can amaze you and take you back to the reality, connecting again with nature.
These pictures were taken with the Kentmare Pan 400 film on a Minolta 9000 camera.
